I find that saturday nights are generally the same as the last one, makes a nice change to stay in for one every so often. Funny when your mates asked what you did and expect you've done something really exciting and you tell them you've stayed in!

I've been busy all day and couldn't be arsed to go out. Also most of my friends have other halves at the moment so I don't have anyone to go out with. Blub!!!

I never go out of an evening, never mind a saturday night! My other half lives with his parents and is their full-time carer.
My 20yrs old son lives with his fiancee and they never go out of a night either. Neither of them likes crowds, or doing whats expected of youngsters like peeing it up in a club or pub or whatever.
I learnt long ago to appreciate evenings in to myself! Very Happy

I'm not out as I'm on call for work.

And I have just realised that makes me sound like i'm a call girl or something Laughing Laughing

Yes saturdays are overrated. Everyone seems to be out clubbing, which I can't stand. I literally think if I am sent to hell when I die it will look like a nightclub. On the plus side at least most other venues are void of that most annoying ageband 18-25. But blimey doesn't it feel uncomfortable being the only single person in a restaurant or cinema packed with couples...

i went out last night with my sister and her fella, we went for a meal and then to the cinema - in between we stopped in varsity ( a bar/club ) and i have to say... there's some seriously under-dressed women in there even for essex ! Laughing

but..as usual, there's always the idiots and on the way back to the car ( i was driving so no alcohol for me ) some moron decided he wanted to have a go.. well, fortunately we defused the situation and carried on, but well, it just proves that even if you go out with the intension of having fun, there's always someone who's got other plans.

i'd rather spend saturday night on the sofa with a cute lady watching what-ever she wanted eating the biggest tub of hagen-daz or ben & jerries available !

I don't think any night is over rated, each night is what you make it. If you have the energy, drive and desire to do some thing then chances are that will happen.
