I think it should be a public holiday

and it should be celebrated

We should all have the right to be proud of who we are...

Did the PM not say he might make it a holiday last year? I seem to remember a debate about it and the flag.....

We should have a big parade just like they do for St Patricks

I think they are having a parade of some sort this weekend.

And Monday they are putting a big screen in Trafalgar Sq and showing the best of british movies and comedy!

got this...

Trafalgar Square films
A series of films will be screened at Trafalgar Square on Monday 23rd April from 12.30pm - 9pm. Starting off with classic television comedy clips as well as Ronnie Barker's Futtock's End and ending with Monty Python and the Holy Grail from 7.30 - 9pm.

off this website http://www.viewlondon.co.uk/st-georges-day-london_index.html

ya see pol, most people will be at work in the day, so it will be mainly tourists who get to enjoy it in the day time. if Tony gave us all a day off we could all go and join in with events and drinking in our cities, like the Irish do on st.patricks day Smile
