Does anybody have any reminders of things, good or bad?

I'm talking about things that trigger certain emotions/feelings or thoughts on things, or just remind you of someone/something.

Could be a song, a scar, a place..anything.

I'm just interested to know.

Going back to Whitby brings back memories, the sort that in one instance would make you smile at the happy times you had there and in another moment to the sorrow of not having those times to enjoy again Crying or Very sad

Funny agricultural/horticultural smells remind me of my dad and my uncle.

I love the smell of warm, moist compost!

All right then, the smell of a certain perfume always brings back memories of a certain person I was very much in love with many years ago who was taken away from me before her time. There's one.

The song Close To Me, by the Cure.

It was playing the very first time I saw my first love.
(aaaaawwwwwwwwww) Embarassed

Every time I hear that song, it reminds me of how I felt when I first saw her.

I think that she probably feels the same way too.

(love at first sight DOES exist!!!!!)

That song will always be my favourite song.

PS. Now puke

(She used to say that too)

I'm not sure that I've ever actually loved anyone.
I might put this song on and see if it works for me too!

Have a scar on my leg from being tired and clumsy one morning, walking past the computer desk and cutting my leg open off of the metal as the plastic thing to prevent these kinds of things had disappeared.

Meat loaf reminds me of my summer holidays off of school when I was much, much younger, singing at the top of my lungs in the car wherever we went. Very Happy

The TV show Friends reminds me of the time we lived in our old house, again much younger, and we'd join in with the intro and clapping involved. Sliders also reminds me of similar times.

Yep, got loads.

'Everything I do, I do it for you' by Bryan Adams sends me nuts.

It was played at my brother's first wedding and also at my best mate's funeral. *God rest his soul* Was one of his favourite songs. *Weeps*
