Thanks, religion's a really serious topic for some - so it deserves serious thought.


That was a very interesting thought there Shiraz. Kinda summed up my entire Social Psychology year!

I think i've spoken to some people on here about this, but my mother is a Catholic and my father is Jewish - both practising.. and they couldn't decide which religion to bring me up in, so decided to educate me in both and let me make my mind up. Which was great as a kid having both Chanukkah and Christmas!! But I realised that as both of my parents believed theirs was the "one true religion" that doomed non-believers to hell, whichever religion I chose would condemn one of my parents to hell.. so while i have FAITH, i don't follow an organised religion. Although, I did go to a convent school for a while. I was seriously considering being a nun.

Soo u did not go ahead to the covent then ?

you know, the strangest thing about it is, i'd actually really like to have a faith, to think there was a deeper meaning to life etc, i guess that my 'mentality' can't accomodate that kind of thing at the moment
