Hi kathy, excuse my ignorance but what is 'unitarian'? never heard of it, could you enlighten me, I'm not really religious as in follow one religion, i have looked into several & i think you can take something from all of them. I believe that nature/universe etc is a higher being than us as it created us & will destroy us eventually (unless you believe in the bible). just a little thought...for every grain of sand on this earth there is a star in the universe (app) quite humbling I think..also try meditating about death.

Religion wise...I don't have a religion.

I do like reading about religions, though

I don't have a religion although Buddism has always appeals to me.
I've just spent the past month studying and writing about sectarian violence in Iraq so the more I study religions the more I am convinced that man has never worshipped anything other than himself! Confused

I've met Axl Rose (he lives in Amsterdam and his kids went to the same school as the kids one of my friends was au pair for)

I'm a Methodist. I used to go to a Baptist church but had a huge row with the church elders when I was 15 and left. Became a member of my Methodist church at 18 and now I help run the sunday school.

hiya! unitarianism is a really liberal faith, theres no strict rules on what you have to have faith in, so long as you have faith. we still worship together, and do the traditioonsl hymm sandwich type services, although younger unitarians (such as myself) have started doing alternative form of worship, such as outside, or worship based on food, etc. the best quote i've heard that sums up unitarianism really well is 'unitarian, different beliefs, one faith.'
some more traditional unitarians believe that unitarianism is the same as christianity aprt from believing in the holy trinity, but its (finally) changing and people are starting to listen to the voices of younger members of the church now.
hope that helped sum it up for you a little bit, any more questions just ask.
