And what about the police officers that have been killed for doing their job?

Do you have proof that these people didn't do anything? I highly doubt it.

i've never heard anything about ppl dying at the hands of police officers, im not surprised it happens, even though i think its wrong that ppl are dying when they shouldnt, and that the police are getting off without blame, but i still think the police do so much to keep us all safe (even though they're never there when u want them and always there when u dont, typical!) and they have such a high pressure job that its (not acceptable), but understandable when the 'accidents' happen, im not saying they should escape without punishment, but im not surprised that these things get 'looked over'.

Every week they risk their lives to help others.

Sure, they make mistakes. Who doesn't?

yeah, everyone makes mistakes, but if ur making mistakes this serious (life and death), then i believe these cases need looking into. if they keep on getting away with it then police officers could start getting revenge on ppl and getting away with it (i know most police officers wouldnt, but theres always one or two that give the rest a bad name.)

Good point.

They shouldn't be allowed to get away with stuff.

But neither should people in the streets. I actually called the police on my sisters friends yesterday because they burgled somebodies house round the corner - and brought the stuff round here Rolling Eyes

good stuff, last time i was burgled i lost my laptop, my housemate lost his as well, never got them back. i dont know anybody that breaks into ppl's houses myself, but if i did i would tell the police on them, theres no need for it, if u need somthing badly, get a job and earn it.

fair enough they're busy, but we pay so much in tax we expect a good police force, they need to concentrate on all areas.

...especially as the police doesnt carry any guns in the UK - must take hours to kill someone just with by beating him with a rubber stick;-)

One of my housemates in Portsmouth got his car stolen once - all the police did was they gave him a call when they found the car and said he should collect it (or what was remainig) as otherwise he will get a parking ticket.

They didnt even bother to take fingerprints or anything - they said things like "it is just the kids" and "cars never leave the island anyway"
