i dont have mixed parents but i do have a rare blood group from way back which only 20 or so % of white people have it's usually ethnic or coloured people who are this blood type, i'll check out the site anyways

Actually, the Anthony Nolan Trust are happy for ANYONE to be tested as a donor, just that this one particular boy has specific needs. They especially like donors from ethnic minorities. You should note that they do have certain health requirements and you have to be within certain weight ranges too.
