I had a friend who took her cockatoo out on a harness for a walk, i kid you not!
Sounds like you're having great fun with your kids, keep an eye out for lizards, they are getting rarer these days (sorry, bit of a miniwildlife anorak).

Awwwwww that's such a cute pic Megs!

My dogs had a rope like that once....it is now a complete mess due to them chewing it and playing tug of war with each other Laughing

Oh DH I am so sorry, this is one of the saddest posts I have read.
I would dearly love to give her a home with me, but I have no private garden and feel it would be unfair on her, although my neighbors on the 3rd floor (I am ground) have 3 dogs.
Please keep us posted about this, and hope you find someone suitable to love her for you. Crying or Very sad

Hi Alice, thanks a lot - I already have a provisional home for her near here, but will let you know if it falls through for any reason. I think Vanda still has my mobile number, you can get it from her and text me your mobile number so I can contact you if things fall through.

Looks like she might be going to London instead, to live with an ex girlfriend; after a lot of thought I decided that it was best for the dog if she could go to someone that she already knows and likes a lot, to spare her some of the trauma of moving. Even so, I am not sure how the move will affect her, she is very attached to me (as is usual with a dog that spends all day, every day with someone), so am a bit worried.

On another vaguely similar matter, I am also available free to a good home, although I don’t have the same endearing qualities as Pebbles
