What does it mean when the circle next to someone on your favourites list goes orange?

Oh dear, when I read the thread title I thought I was going to be able to dispense some of my invaluable wealth of medical knowledge

Hopefully someone who has some favourites will be able to answer your question – I’m not on anyone’s list (surprise surprise).....

Although at a guess (from a practical point of view, and thinking in web designer mode), I’d say that if it changed colour, it might mean that that person has also added you to their favourites list? No doubt someone will come along in the morning and ridicule my hypothesis and give a more realistic explanation.

Yes, I was going to ask about the orange spots too, they don't make sense and I'm not popular enough for your theory to be true dh, I only wished it were

There's a favourites list?

Cool - a chance to use my Sherlock Holmes like powers of deduction. Basically, I think the spots go orange if people have been inactive/haven't signed on for a while. i think the grey spots have all been online in last day or 2! Course, that's just my theory, could well be completely bollocks!
