I live not far from the epicentre. I would have slept thru it but my twat of a boyfriend (love him really ) woke me so that I wouldn't miss it... instead I missed out on sleep!!!! I'd twat him one but I'm too knackered

hell red, i wake people up when i fart so they can smell it, ...and a eathquake is almost as good a reason so i dont blame your boyfriend at all

I didnt feel a thing, was in bed and had a very good sleep actually

Well I’m down in Bournemouth, Dorset and was up till at least 3am and didn’t notice any (seismic vibrations) guess it was travelling on different path heading though the UK.



I watched the BBC replay news video footage with buildings that have been crumbled or now made unsafe due to the (HEAVY 5.2) if that had lasted a few minutes it would mean disaster for the UK! The buildings in this country are brittle only a few might stand up to a powerful punishment only a few the rest will come down like deck of cards.

I remember a seismic vibration back in 1984 early that shock the top floor building of friends flat down at the Lansdown which is ¾ mile away from Bournemouth beach front.

The shudder was enough to give me the chills. Later we head on the amateur radio bands, that it was (WWII sea-mine) that was detonated 1 mile off from Bournemouth pier, Bullshit! It was felt throughout the whole of Dorset.

They may have labelled this the strongest type for more than 25 years, but there was that Earthquake that hit the UK 1 2 years ago in the middle of the UK, now then. I think the UK is going to get hit by a true large scale Earthquake soon, one that may last a few minutes.

Oh, there's just one other thing.

I had been a bit on edge that evening anyway so when the rumble woke me up I thought there was an intruder sitting on my bed bouncing up and down, so naturally I held my breath and pretended to be asleep. Took me 15 minutes to get up the nerve to roll over and turn the light on and ask myself "wtf? was that?"

Everyone's been telling me about this earthquake but I noticed nothing whatsoever. It's a wind up. The entire country is conspiring to wind me up.

That's why i'm unable to sleep in my bed until somebody comes round to help me move my wardrobe off it >.<
