jesus mary and joseph and the lord above we just had an earthquake, me and dad sure that is what it was as the whole house just shook and everything rattled, im scared now ... my mate who lives miles away in skelmersdale says he felt it too did something big happen somewhere as skem in like an hour and a half away

dad said go back to sleep he sleeps down stairs i sleep up wasnt asleep to start with certainly not going now

and no it was not a hgv as the nearest road is half mile away, no neighbours and hf=gvs cant fit down it

everything fell over, and the rumble! im right on a hill so it was kinda loud

I do believe it was Mr Smith in Room 14 at the East Lodge Hotel, apparently his stomach is playing up after the toad in the hole he had for supper.

There aren't that many earthquakes up that way; don't some of the old mines collapse sometimes?

east lodge two miles down hill from me and i cant beleive you looked it up
