I've had mine done for three weeks now, and they're getting majorly itchy.

Anyone here have them done and that can advise something to ease the damned itch?

The itching is a good sign - it means it's healing. If it's hot or red or inflamed though then I'd seek advice on it. You're lucky it's just your nipple(s), why do you think I'm called Princealbern?! Itching in "that" area and fear of complications and/or infection was always on my mind throughout the healing process, but I'm sure you have nothing to be concerned about. You'd know if something was up by now. Good luck.

Hi there....unforunately, theres no straight answer. It could be a sign of healing (it'll itch because making a hole through yourself damages tiny nerves, and the itching is the nerves sorting themselves out). Or it could be infection starting.

Best advice - keep an eye on it. Don't fiddle, and clean it regularly.

Most of all - don't worry too much, just keep your eyes open

have you ever tried using 'Savalon antiseptic wound wash'?? its really good its in a blue spray bottle with a pink lid, or use hot salty water,saline.

Why do guys get nipple piercings anyway? If I see a guy with a piercing on any part of their body, I immediately think they are gay.. No offense, just trying to figure out if any girls like it.

I don't know. I guess it's the effort being put into trying to look good. I'm one to just look like you look, rather than trying hard to look like someone you want to be. Maybe it's just me, but all the effort put in can seem quite camp.

Although i never did it nor i will....but from a proffisional point of view i would say:
Dont worry, this all natural and its just a sign of healing , just as those who have POP (plaster for a broken bone)they feel intensive itch when it start to heal...
so congrates...ur having new piercing and its going fine, its gona take u a week to 10 days, just forget it and dont itch, the more u itch it the more it will demand....

Chikhai, I don't have "a stick in my arse" about nipple peircings. They don't offend me, I was simply saying I think they show a guy is trying desperately hard to show how manly he is by doing something "tough guy", like getting some girly body jewellery... I'm assuming you have one?

Had one when I was in my early twenties but let it heal. I was talking about getting it done again a couple of weeks ago and this thread has kinda reminded me to get it sorted. So it'll be frozen peas at the ready this weekend.

If you're going for the overcompensating angle you're aiming in entirely the wrong direction. Trust me on this one.

I like the look of them and more importantly the feel of them (they're very practical). Its just one of those things you do for the experience; the same as tattoos etc. Vanity and pain go hand in hand.

Still, if you're happy to go for the rentboy look, fancy a bum?
