But what i cant understand is why the English are such sour losers? Ronaldo did nothing wrong, yes he dives around like a little girl and even the Portugese hate that, but Rooney deserved his red card, simply just a hot headed guy who will never change.

Ha ha ha yeah i agree that we are sour loosers, i personally think we played apporlingly in all our games. Our game only improved when we were forced to change formation when we went down to 10 men.
There are only a few to blame that is 1 Sven for putting the players that were not 100% match fit and 2 the players themselfs for not playing to the best of therer ability. yes there were a coulpe of good players but in my opinion the only player that dd our team 100% justice is hargreves and i have never even heard of him yet he played a better game than our own captain ( now ex) and wonder boy.
lets just hope that the new coach and captian will do us proud and not fall into the same mudane crap that the last 2 did.
As for rooneys red card. firstly if you look at the footage again and again you will see yes he should have got the yellow as he was clinging on to both players whilst trying to take posestion however when they fell if you look the portugeezr had hold of rooneys leg he had no choice but to step back and land or fall and risk damaging his leg even further. In the game its self the ref was going to let it go but when ronaldo came up shouting in his face rooney pushed him that is what he got a red card for not the stamping.
Ill be the first to say that rooney like owen has burnt out, at first he was the ace now he is like a chavy thug in a street corner and needs to see a shrink.
Lets face it untill the england managers/ coaches change the line up we will never win a competition like this.
