It's also a good opportunity to meet people, because tourists come from all over the world for it. You could even go to a Ceilidh and snap up a sexy man in a kilt!

I think the best guy to meet at a Ceilidh is this mad long-haired polish guy who seems to be at all of them and twirls all the girls around the room until they're panting (but always smiling). You should try to get snatched up by him, even if he's not wearing a kilt!

He sounds great! Now I think I want to spend Hogmanay in Edinburgh too, it's been so long since I was last twirled on the dancefloor.. I'm off to do some research on "Hogmanay Ceilidhs in Edinburgh" - I hope you can make it Bliss!

I am going to a club, just like last year and the year before, only this year it wont be a smoky club Very Happy

I used to go trafalgar square but cant be doing with that anymore, it is full of people kissing each other, which is always welcome but i dont wanna be out in the cold all night (possibly rained on) rather be in a warm club, plenty of drinks and good music to move to

If it makes you feel better Ill be doing the same thing. I always avoid New Years Eve like the plague in my shithole town because the locals go nuts. I have no intention of starting the new year with a broken nose thank you.

Sheeze, steady on Chief .... its not that bad at all man Crying or Very sad I'll agree its four deep at any bar and unless you have tickets for somewhere it can be a nightmare. Broken nose? Where the feck do you drink? Laughing

I'm gonna be in Dundee for it, would love to make it to Edinburgh but i dunno if that will happen. I've got a little suspicion It'll be good either way though Laughing
