I don't know where I'm gonna spend New Year's and I want y'all to give me some advice on where would be a great place to spend New Years at. I dunno if I'm gonna spend it in London or not... Maybe I'll try another place. In the UK anyways. Where are the greatest parties? Greatest peeps? etc

If you've never spent a New Year's Eve' in Edinburgh then I would highly recommend it! Even if you don't go to the street party, there is a great atmosphere all over town, not to mention an awesome fireworks display.

It's also a good opportunity to meet people, because tourists come from all over the world for it. You could even go to a Ceilidh and snap up a sexy man in a kilt! I actually think Hogmany (as we call it) is fun anywhere in Scotland but I'm probably biased!

I'm spending my New Year's Eve in Paris!

I spent new year/old year's night in scotland with my dad when i was about 12 - dont recall the name of the place, somewhere near loch lomond - never had so much fun in my life!
This year I'll be on my own with my 15 yrs old son so will probably just go to bed and sleep it through

Yep have to agree Bliss, Scotland is the best place to be for New Year. I dont think I could ever spend it anywhere else

I will be spending a lonely NYE here, again. My son is now at the age where he wants to stay up and celebrate, all i want to do is go to bed and sleep through it all cause it always makes me cry.

Well I didnt answer as a few people had already said Edinburgh, which is great, the atmosphere is amazing, same goes for Glasgow if you celebrate it in George Square. I've never celebrated it in any other country so cant comment.

This year I will probably do as last year and just have some friends over, I'm geting too old for standing outside in the cold
