I don't know where I'm gonna spend New Year's and I want y'all to give me some advice on where would be a great place to spend New Years at. I dunno if I'm gonna spend it in London or not... Maybe I'll try another place. Very Happy In the UK anyways. Where are the greatest parties? Greatest peeps? etc

Laughing Laughing Laughing

p.s. Maybe I should've posted this in the Holidays section, but I think peeps are more likely viewing "anything else" than "holidays". Anyways, please move it if it should be moved. Thanks.

If you've never spent a New Year's Eve' in Edinburgh then I would highly recommend it! Even if you don't go to the street party, there is a great atmosphere all over town, not to mention an awesome fireworks display.

It's also a good opportunity to meet people, because tourists come from all over the world for it. You could even go to a Ceilidh and snap up a sexy man in a kilt! I actually think Hogmany (as we call it) is fun anywhere in Scotland but I'm probably biased! Laughing

If it makes you feel better Ill be doing the same thing. I always avoid New Years Eve like the plague in my shithole town because the locals go nuts. I have no intention of starting the new year with a broken nose thank you.

Well I didnt answer as a few people had already said Edinburgh, which is great, the atmosphere is amazing, same goes for Glasgow if you celebrate it in George Square. I've never celebrated it in any other country so cant comment.

This year I will probably do as last year and just have some friends over, I'm geting too old for standing outside in the cold Very Happy

Whatever you choose hope its a good one Bliss!!!

Ditto Becky, dont really like New Years that much but dont really get the opportunity to go out anymore with the kids and can never get a Babysitter on New Years Eve for some reason, would love to go to one big party somewhere and just let my hair down ................... x Very Happy
