As most of you know, I work for myself teaching computer skills including the ECDL. It's summer. Students are a little thin on the ground and as such I decided to get a job doing admin until work picks up again.

This morning, at 08.47 am my business phone rang, and I half thought about not answering lol. Good thing I did. I've just become a dental nurse! lmao. Should be an experience. I start in the morning. So you guys will see less and less of lil old me.

No it'll be good. It'll give me something to do, rather than sat on my arse at home. I'll get to meet lots of new people. It's in the middle of the town so it's close to my mother's...unlike my last job which was a five min walk from MY house...but that was no good to me when I firstly had to walk the kids down to my mother's lol. And it's actually my own dental surgery so I know most of the people that work there already!

it's always good to have something pretty to look at in otherwise bad places like dentists.

Congratulations!

A fine job with a minimum of fuss from what i can remember, and if anyone does annoy you, just make sure the dentist uses the blunt drill.

I've just had a thought..... should I take out my nose ring and put in a diamond stud instead? Can't remember whether I was wearing the stud or the ring for the interview....hmmm.....
If they ask me to take any of my piercings out...I'm gone !

Not really
I do earn enough with the computers... it's just boredom really that drove me out looking for another job. Wink

so you doing your college course on computers has made you self employed? ... why are you looking for another job then?

I teach basic computer skills including the ECDL.
And I'm searching for another job, because even though I could earn a week's wage in two days....I'm bored the rest of the time. And during summer, students are a lil thin on the ground which gives me more time to be bored. I have enough money put aside to get me through the summer......but there's only so much cleaning you can do! lol
