Well - a few days in now (and many random emails later!) I have realised that there are some very lovely people out there...and some scary ones too! Smile Nice to be part of a new community. Smile Rx.

How do you define normal..

To me, i am normal, to many others ( like the rest of the planet ) i'm a complete loon with a rediculous sense of humour and a slightly erm.. warped way of looking at things...

Hi, i agree, years ago i would have classed myself normal, now however i dont think i am.
The norm has become, weed puffing, binge drinking, socially annoying, unfamiliar with manners, etc, etc so no i wouldnt say in that sense i was normal, however maybe we are all special instead? Smile

Yep, you could say we're all special in our own special way.
I never classed myself as normal, even when I was!

Just did a google definition search of the word normal

Quote:
# conforming with or constituting a norm or standard or level or type or social norm; not abnormal; "serve wine at normal room temperature"; "normal ...
# in accordance with scientific laws
# being approximately average or within certain limits in e.g. intelligence and development; "a perfectly normal child"; "of normal intelligence"; "the most normal person I've ever met"
# convention: something regarded as a normative example; "the convention of not naming the main character"; "violence is the rule not the exception"; "his formula for impressing visitors"
# forming a right angle

I cant guarantee conformity or that I am average, but I am forming a right angle in this office chair Laughing Laughing
