I don't know if this subject's existed before around here... DO lock and point me in the right direction if so...

So do y'all like have any nicknames for the objects around you (for some of them at least)? I don't know if this is a good topic, but I was just thinkin' today that my cue is called "My precious", my car is called "Stephen", my ex car was called "tiny" (not only by me but people around me too as they gave it the name ), when I once rented a car I called it Ajax (it just felt like an ajax to me ) and if I ever get a really fancy car it will be called Michael, after mr. Madsen, by a friend's suggestion.

I love nicknames... If someone were ever to give me one, regarding my pool skills, I'd like it to be "the executioner", but I believe I'm a bit far from that for the moment being.

Now I'm sure that I've got more names for the objects around me... I shall be back.

when installing garage doors with the homeowners watching over our shoulders my brother and myself would use the code word bernard if we saw any damage or blemish, that way it could be delt with without the customer getting all worried

I've always tended to be a bit of a humpty dumpty when it comes to words, make 'em up as I go along when I cant remember the proper word for summat.

Cant think off hand of others. Most people who know me know what I mean and tend to use my words occasionally!

Personal nicknames people have given me (my name being lottie): Tots, Dot, Dot 'ed, Totty, Lot, Lotto, Moto, Mush, Flo

My car is called Harold
My mates cars are called Lil Peter + Mavis
Knives are 'stabbers'
T.v controls are 'dibber'(s)
Icing sugar is 'sprinkles' (bearing in mind i work in a kitchen lol)
French mustard is 'poo sauce'
Shoes are 'footsie mabobs'
Lighters are 'lighterers'
Pens are 'scribble sticks'
My car mirrors are 'bass measurers'

and i'm sure there is maaany many more that i just can't think of atm!
