Thank you RG - sounds like sound advice to me.
I put him out this morning just in case, but i think leaving them together will be okay.

Personally, I wouldn't 'put him out' (unless he dont use a litter tray) as that will just reinforce the idea that he's being...well, 'put out' in favor of the other one.
He wont hurt her, she's a she, and she's little, not a threat to him, just got his nose out of joint for all the attention...

Well i did think that as he walked out this morning and looked at me in utter disgust... but i didnt really know what else to do.
He's already been round next door complainging to the other cats, who have all been for a good look at her! LOL... i will go home at lunch time and let him back in so that he can get to know her a little better!
He usually sleeps on my bed with me, but when i came in to the bedroom last night and he was all curled up on my bed, he looked at me like shit and stormed off to sleep on the floor! LOL - Dufus!

I think calling all the names out to her and seeing which she responds to most positively is the way to go, although this may lead to her inadvertently being called catfood.

I meant to say, play with them together. I got a long piece of string, tied some scrunched up newspaper on the end and let them chase me/it round the flat. Or a laser pen. They soon forget to be enemies, til the fun stops!
Dont forget to keep us posted how they are settling together.

UPDATE!!!
The cat is now apparently called Lemon Pie. I will continue to call the poor thing Missy cos that names just random! LOL...
The two arent getting on brilliantly unfortunately, and now Missy is a little scared of Sticky bud and tends to back off when he's around, where as before she would bounce up to him. I guess she is just learning her limits and that he needs some space and respect, but he batted her the other day after HE got to close to HER and she looked at him funny.
:0\
They will be fine.
I lost my laser pen, so i think i will go find another on the market today.
Thanks for everyones help and advice!

Yeah, and its meant because my house mate and i say "Love you like Lemon Pie" all the time to each other...but i just find it wierd! LOL!!
05.08.2008, 10:42 quote
Well Xago - i like that idea, because i originally wanted to call her Loki. I am reading the satanic bible at the moment, and theres a fair few ideas in there too...but my housemate settled on Lemon Pie.
Oh Well!
LOL!!
Will buy me a black fish and call it Loki.
