I'm moving to London in 6 weeks to work in a pub - I'm from NZ.

£5.00 I paid last night for a burger and chips in a kebab shop and then £22 for a 4mile taxi ride.

yeh but watch, if u were to do that same route during the week it'd only cost you a tenner. They tend to bump up the price when they think you're drunk

What how much??? Take it you didnt go to a dodgy taxi driver then! Go to them ask how much then say nah i can it cheaper round the corner and then they will drop the price! It costs me £50 to get home from London and i dont know how many miles it is but its a 45 min train journey!
