For years when I was younger, I thought that the lyrics in Boomtown Rats 'I don't like mondays', first line was 'Silicon chip in Cider head...etc'...which obviously I couldn't understand, it seemed to be a nonsense lyric, but it was years before I realised it was actually 'Silicon chip inside her head'! lol Laughing

c'mon, I know you've all got some...

See how easily it happens!?

'Beneath the knee' and 'We brain the grape' similarly dont make any sense, but you went with it anyway hahaha

I used to think Golden Brown by The Stranglers had the following words:

Golden brown texture like sun
Lays me down with my mancherons
Throughout the night
No need to fight
Never a frown with golden brown

I was well confused as to what a 'mancheron' was. I thought it may have been some kind of heroin reference or other. It turns out the correct words are 'Lays me down with my mind she runs'. Now I know that I can hear them sing that clearly each time... Apparently this kind of thing is called a mondegreen.
