.. Grammar

Sometimes when I read back what I've just written I think, oh dear especially after i've clicked send.
I'm guilty of the following typos and plenty more sentences that don't quite make sense.

____ offered to give you a life
*lift

Batter recycling
*Battery

You can add that to the lust
*list

There are quite a few on this site but i'm gonna be good.

A dyslexic stonemason mis-spelled an engraving on a graveyard headstone - accidentally carving a 'C' where the 'A' should be in the following inscription:

'To my beloved Aunt'

One of the great things about Google Chrome is that if you spell anything incorrectly, it gets the red wiggle underneath it. It rarely happens with me (I swear, I ate a dictionary when I was 12, tasted good with a Thesaurus), but when you type a bit too fast and the letters get confused, it saves you from the constant abuse which a poorly worded message brings.

It's txt talk which is the worst. *shudders* The amount of times I've had to ask someone to speak in English cuz dey dno hw 2 use da kybrd prply.

There's nothing like getting a red wiggler underneath you, or so some women would say...!

I tried that with a woman once. She threw me back in the pond. To be fair, we were in a park at the time, for our first date. And my excuse of being "too excited to remember to get dressed" didn't really ring true. Confused

If you still had a wiggler - despite being excited, I suggest two lolly sticks and three rubber bands... either that or blame the chill factor from the pond mist...! Happened to me once too, only, the Marie Celeste then crashed into the tow path and my wiggler almost vanished completely when that happened I can tell you... just like the ship's crew...
