Unprovoked aggression is stupid, whoever is being hit or doing the hitting. I don't think it's any worse just because it's a woman being hit. Why should a woman being beaten be worse than me being beaten for no good reason ? Am I not worth caring about, just because I am a bloke ?

As far as I'm concerned, any bloke who hits a woman is scum. I know there is far more equality between sexes now, but I am not going to apologise for my old fashioned views on this one. Women are not as physically strong as men (generally) and its disgusting when a man feels the need to physically assault a woman.

Anyone who uses violence against women is obviously a total sad case; I really hope you reported what happened so he can get what he deserves. I know a police officer and I know they don’t take kindly to men who hit women, so trust me he will get it when they get hold of him.
