Here's a question 4 ya........
When they are doing roadworks on the dual-carraigeway, they put cones out (normally in the summer in Cornwall!), and on top of these cones they put those amber flashing beacons.
What I want to know is how they manage to get them all flashing in sequence, cos I notice it every time I pass some late at night that the light seems to run down the road in perfect sequence, it has been doing my head in all day, and I am sure that someone can answer me.........

My eldest son bangs on about that. He's got aspergers and it troubles him too at times, I will ask him if he's come up with an answer and will let you know........my thought is that they don't have individual switches those lights - maybe on some kind of a circuit with one main switch somewhere?

Talking of roads in cornwall Megalone - I'm coming down to cornwall next week via the A30 going thru st austell.
Please can you tell me if you know that area at all, are the roads clear, or are they still flipping faddling at indian queens? or do I mean Innis downs near roche? I can never remember which.
Cheers.

The new stretch of the A30 has been open for a while now at Roche, but the bottleneck has been moved up the road to Bodmin.
You won't have any trouble this time of year though, in the summer months its like 3 hours waiting time at points...........

I can hear this buzzing sound somewhere, and don't expect me to believe that it's the fan making that noise.

Anyway, I'm just killing time with meaningless stuff for now, until I get my christmas present.......

Yeah in the summer months I come down during the night, much better and quicker. I've been reading the cornish newspapers website about Iron Bridge and the bypass over Goss moor on account that i lived just beside it at whitemoor. Glad they are finally doing summat about it.

Sorry, I was only joking, but in my defence I AM gutted, cos SOMEONE promised me a very special present this christmas, and now it looks like I'll get nothing, or to be 'exact', it looks like I'll be getting 'sweet FA'
