Thank you all so much for sharing your own stories with me and the way you have coped with your losses.
I also saw my mum hovering between 2 worlds which was a very scarey experiance for me,she could no longer communicate and i know her body was shutting down.I sat alone with her and sang her part of a song,-- Its time to say goodbye-- I know she heard me, as later that night she died.I so wanted to be there at her side and I spent hours just sitting and watching her pain but she died when i left to go home.I hate myself for leaving her and wish i had been there to hold her hand,it just wasnt meant to be Sad

Your last moments with your mum were very special and I've learnt that some people like to do their transition whilst they are alone, and this was true of my aunt.

You know... About that moment when you just happened to leave the room, after being there for ages, and they passed away, there's a song... Think it should help with it a bit.

Soflty, as I leave you...

My mum is very sick now with a brain tumor .... 8 weeks ago she was a lively, vibrant woman, busy, happy, full of life ..... I saw her this morning, she can't see, can't walk, is frail, keeps being sick, is incontinent ..... but shes still my mum and I love her so much .... can't bear it, but have to be strong for Dad

Life is hard sometimes ..... we can get through it with love, hugs, friends and lots of wine

My deepest sympathy for those who have suffered a loss or whose loved ones are very ill. Rest assured there is no shame in feeling sad, lost, guilty, angry, or any other emotion. These are the most trying of times and what is important is that everyone follows their own path through grief, however long that may take. I wish you all luck and future happiness.

Im very privileged to have such lovely people share theyr own personal experiances with me,thanks again.I know how hard it is, even just to type the words you want to say on a pc, but for me to know that there are other people that have shared my experiance and my heartache, makes me realise that life isnt so bad and certainly not forever, we must enjoy every second and make the people we have lost proud to have been a part of our lives.....

I miss you Mum

I feel for you Prima, losing your mum as such a young age must be hard. Both my parents died 4 years ago when I was 30 and I thought that was bad enough, couldn't imagine going through it at your age. x
