Just letting ye know, i locked kevins thread at his request. He saw it building into a potential fight, and to be honest i thought i could see the same thing happening.

As for Banter, and frank and open discussions. Im all in favour of that too, but im also in favour of having a safe enviroment for people as well. I know there can be people who scream blue murder at the drop of a hat, but they are few and far between on the ground, and sometimes there can be a fine line between teasing and bullying.

I know it can be frustrating for people to feel censored and edited at times, but the mods aren't doing it for the fun of it. I honestly don't like PM'ing people i consider my friends regarding conduct on the boards, but none the less i have to do it.

This may not be a discussion board catered specifically for the 'fragile' and the 'depressed' but people who do suffer from these states do use them, and like it or not lads, the mods have an obligation to look after these people as well as yourselves.

95% of the time i personally have no problem with what anyone posts, but if someone does have a problem with it, id rather them to pm a mod and have us talk about it, rather than declare open season on the suposed offender. At least that way the thread can continue if the the problem is a superficial one.

that said, im no one's mommy either, so a thick skin or a dab of patience from people now and again wouldn't go amiss either.
