I have my own "sign" language - it's easy as hell.

I can use a 'rusty' MAKATON sign language, developed from BSL but modified to use with people who have learning disabilities/difficulties and accompanying speech so as to develop their spoken words.
And 'rusty'as I'm no longer working in the settings where it was used.

Apart from, this I know a little French from school days and can just about get by with that and a phrase book if I have too.

Some people just have a knack for languages but it certainly isn't me Sad

I wished I'd even known that much the other week 'cos I had a guy from the German Flirtbox site messaging me quite a bit (before giving up) and he couldn't write English and I couldn't write in German so I never really had any idea what was being said to me. Confused
