Well so far it's the loose powder makeup and lip stick however need to know how I can use something other than ponds cold cream to keep the minaral powder on without making my face look oily, I had oiuly skin growing up and I would like to know what anyone else uses to help it stay on that I can buy.I also like the eyeliner and eyeshadow as well as the blush.
I'm now in my 40's and don't want anything settleing in my wrinkles. UT

Thats weird cos most mineral powders (as far as I know) are oil free....

You need to use a oil free moisturiser, gels are good as tend to be water based so it hydrate's the skin without adding access oil to it, which you dont want! or a light oil free fluid, again a water based one is best. You need to use a good cleanser and toner, again for oily skin, Ive found gel cleansers to be good also and toners are good for keeping the pores clean and unblocking them, and usually oily skin means alot of pores, especially as you grow older and if you havent looked after your skin properly in the past. Also look it to getting a pore refining, self heating facemask, these clean out your pores too and tend to soak up access oil and will leave the face feeling and looking alot fresher, do this once to twice a week.... also use a good exfoiliator to rid dead skin, it immediately makes the skin look awhole lot fresher, feels smoother and also encourages new skin cells to grow, which in turn will give you younger looking skin, depending on the harshness of the exfoilator use, once to twice a week. I use a microdermabrasion exfoilator once a week and then a face mask once a week, a few days between and also have oily skin.

The key to keeping your makeup on is to use the correct skincare, if you use for the wrong skin type then it wont last. People can say its mumble jumble but they know nothing, i worked in makeup and skincare for 9 years so know a little about it!

As for brands, each to their own, what works for one wont necessarily work for another but a hypoallergenic (for sensitive skin) are normally the best as are normally fragrance free and dermatology tested Smile

I use a little bit of liquid foundation, it is the only way and works like a charm!

Dis the make up topique? Razz WOOOO Razz

I dislike Avon. Although they do have some good stuff.

First of all I dislike it because it's all cheap and you wanna buy it all and I can't deal with having to make that sort of decisions. LOL

Second, it never impressed me much. But I love the perfumed pages in their catalogs.

Third I don't use make up much anymore, but when it comes to basic stuff like powder, mascara, liquid eyeliner and even lip gloss, I always choose L'Oreal. Because I'm worth it. LOL Sometimes Bourjois too, only for lip gloss and eye pencils (crayons, whatever). And I love Dior Show Mascara blue.

Avon products never seemed to have amazing quality. I could be wrong, but hey... Tha's my 2 p.
