I know i havent been here for a while so ... spank me lol ... but i have to say this ....

Travelling up the M3 on Friday the 13th (i know i know!!!!) at 7.30am ready to catch my flight to Norway with my son and now i need to find the dick in the small white van that decided he didnt want the right lane right as it split off into the contraflow onto the opposite side of the carriageway .... so what does he do ? A normal person might carry on and swear, no, he decides at the very last moment (and too late) to swerve and hit the first bollard dislodging it ... ah you might ask, what happens to the bollard once he has dislodged it?

Well that will be the one then that hit my car and dragged underneath it for 1/4 of a mile before i could stop without causing a pile up with all the speeding cars behind me!

Laying in the road, still in the contraflow trying to dislodge it with my terrified son sitting in the car (nowhere for him to safely go) wasnt funny, i needed some new knickers myself by then! Now, how do i find him so i can kill him slowly and painfully ... any ideas ??

why is it those 'CLOCkers' (centre lane owners club) resolutely stick there even when lane 1 is clear for miles, even when people coming up behind have to manoeuvre around them and flash their lights and gesticulate at them to move over, and even when it changes from 3 lanes down to 2?

I think I know why it is. It's because it's not bloody covered in the driving test (like that would matter anyway) so when people eventually get their licence and end up on the motorway they dont have a friggin clue. That still doesn't excuse many people though.

There should be a law that anyone spotted causing this offence should have to go on a 2nd test that is just on motorways before they are allowed to have a full licence.

Fair point Trev, but lots of the offenders are old farts who probably can't remember their test, had a test before multiple lanes were invented in this country, or maybe didn't have one at all!

I think they should fit an array of electromagnets under the tarmac so that offenders can be forcibly dragged into 1st lane.
