Im guessing you haven't had much luck on here, but you haven't even been on here for long.

Instead of posting a "i feel sorry for myself" thread, try asking peoples advice on what you can do fine your match. There is always a person for everyone, unfortunately it take time and effort and believe me, feeling sorry for yourself and having a hard done by approach will not help you find someone.

I agree with the other comments above me but I hasten to add, you need to answer your own thread as if it's somebody else, so you can be sensitive to your own situation like I noticed you are to others on here. Keep posting on the forums here and your personality will show through.

thank you all for the advice and taking your time to do so.i have realised all of you are right feeling sorry for yourself gets ya no where in life.take my auntie and uncle they gave up on life and drunk themselves to death.i asked myself do i want to end up like them or try and give life a good go, live life to the fullest and see where it takes me.im going to take it day by day and see what happens.iam sick of playing the victim now its time to start enjoying life and just maybe i can find happiness.once again thank you all for your advice.

I've been down in the dumps about how i am, but after reading a few posts on here and on other sites on the net, i came to realise that the only one who can do anything about it, is yourself.

If you think your ugly... find a way to change that.. find a part of your body that YOU like - mine for example is my 6 pack. Work on it ! if you don't like you, why should anyone else - one of the best quotes i ever heard.

Get away from your normal stuff. If you hang about with couples, try going out with your single friends instead so you don't think about relationships.

Also, don't sit at the pc on the internet hoping the answer will just fall in to your lap or that you'll get a miracle email telling you that the girl who just moved in down the road is madly in love with you and blah blah blah..

I've been working on myself trying to make myself happy for best part of a year, i quit smoking 4 months ago, i started going to the gym, i've been on a couple of dates and totally ballsed up both chances, but instead of taking negativity, i've looked on the positive side - realised what i'd fucked up and set about changing it.

Finding a date on the internet is like an uber hard job interview, only difference is, you can spend a long time selling yourself for it all to be shot to shit in a matter of minutes if you actually meet up. You have to learn to brush it off and carry on. It's hard, but then it wouldn't be any fun if it were easy !!
