This is what's on my profile....

"only here for the boards..... taken.... Edit: really, I have no interest in 'sexy fun' or 'a quick f**k' or anything else! I have a boyfriend that I'm more than happy with.
EDIT: and I most certainly don't want to be someone's bit of MILF. I'm flattered, but really, I am not interested in anyone or anything other than my boyfriend!!!!"

So WHY am I still getting guys of 17 (yes, 17!!!!!) and up wanting to get to know me better? I've just had a message from a 21 year old with his mobile number in it...

"HI its *name removed i saw your profile i like it want to spend time with you so if you are intrested than call or text me on *mob. no. removed"

Do I need to make my profile any clearer than it already is?!!! Rolling Eyes Evil or Very Mad Rolling Eyes

Taking the time to read your profile would mean he wouldn't have time to cut and paste his message to two maybe three more people.

In essence it won't matter what is in there.

Heh well its obvious I often have controversial views and I have one for this too. Your profile is on a dating site, I consider that fair game and so will the thousands of other users who don't use the forums.

But there is the option of "just friends" etc in the drop down menu "what are you looking for?" or whatever...so...people should learn to read. If it was JUST a dating site, then I would agree.

The site is called flirtbox and they are just flirting.

Again - there is an option for 'just chatting' and 'just friends'...

An option they choose to ignore while browsing a dating site called flirtbox.

A lot of people just don't bother reading profiles.

If somebody states they are in a relationship/looking for friends...then it's just plain rude to 'hit on' them.

Confused

Yup that's exactly what I am saying, if they don't read it, how will they know?

How many married woman here can honestly say, even with their wedding ring in full view they've never been hit on in a bar? Its not right of course but then again if infidelity wasn't so rife these days then maybe people wouldn't try.

Well they should read it!

That really does annoy me, though. Hitting on married women...no point in it unless those married women are putting themselves out there!

There is also a difference between flirting and being a complete perv/after one thing

Red, change your profile to say "I am a MILF gagging for a 17 yrs old bdsm toyboy" etc. and you will get exactly the same kinds of messages.
Not because you are now inviting them, but because the very same people are still not reading what your profile says.
In short, it will only matter what your profile says to the people who bother to read it.
