I can see where Raven is coming from and although I don't agree, I see her point and it is a fair one.
In conclusion. If I had a son/daughter and they wanted to be famous, personally I would prefer it to be for their talent and not Big Brother (and getting all her clothes off). But in the end I would be happy that my daughter/son had fulfilled their wish, as I would anyone really. Hope that makes sense.

I can see the connection with the first song but what does the 2nd song have to do with Jade Goody? Brilliant tune though.

I think its good to see a meaty argument on here for a change, rather then all the back slapping, popularity 'don't upset my mate' threads. These sort of discussions reveals the real people inside.

Personally I think its a subject where no one is really factually wrong, but its all about opinions.

Since this topic did veer off onto the topic of celebrity and media, I went to buy a pint of milk from the newsagents and had to queue up to pay. Front page of the sun today John Terry's mum arrested for shoplifting!

I think that the possible irony of this thread, especially with regard to the ‘celebrity’ aspect, is that the overwhelming majority of Flirtbox members from outside the UK who are reading this thread will probably have absolutely no idea who Jade Goody is.
