Home >> Anything else >> Is not being single the exception?
20.10.2006, 18:22 quote
My theory is that not being single is an exception and being single is most common...haven't seen any statistice yet, thouth.
I have the feeling about 80% of all people are single and 90% of the remaining 20% are married, but unhappily married and just tied together through a mortgage and kids....or because they go used to each other.
I think too many people that are single try to find someone for a relationship as "the media" and society makes you believe everyone needs a partner.
I also think many people finally give up when they get older and just marry someone without really being in love...just because they dont want to stay alone.
In my opinion the probability of a "perfect relationship" where both think they found their ideal and perfect match is about the same as winning in a lottery....and NOT the most common case.
What do you think?
