Yes I have been skint for the last couple of weeks, but today is payday, so I am going down the Crown with the intention of drinking myself into oblivion. It will be excellent.

*Edited by Cazz - Please watch the language you use Moose as the term you used is not pC in this day and age*

Who cares about "PC"?

I certainly don't.

I'm the least "PC" person you will ever meet.

And I'm PISSED.

Ah come now dear Cazzabee - you sure you're not being a little overzealous with the tippex here? Doesnt it say summat in the rules about IF someone feels offended by anything posted, they should PM the mods who will THEN decide whether or not to censor what was written? Surely no one actually took personal offence at moose's remarks? I for one laughed my head off. "that word" is still an officially used word anyway, like a lot of words that have recently been hijacked by the "we must all call a spade a digging implement in case the word shovel offends someone" brigade.
Surely a little colloquialism isnt harming anyone here?

well it's not a word i would use but i'm pretty certain moose used it in the lighthearted way it was intended

I dont like the word and neither do a lot of people and people do take offence at it....As a mod I took the decision to censor it and exchange it with a word more suitable. In case anyone wonders this is what is said about the word used:

Quote:
In the UK they are not used in polite society and are considered highly abusive terms that generally denote people deemed to be mentally or behaviorally deficient.

I know he did Jim but its not going to be one rule for one and one rule for another. We have to consider all users off the site and not just us who know Moose. If anyone is unclear on this then I suggest they read the rules of the forum fully.

I'm not going to get into an argybargy over this, cuz I really dont give a rats arse (am i allowed to say that?) who says what here -- but, "that word which we do not mention" (anyone seen The Village? Laughing Talk about "control") The Correct Meaning is someone with Cerebral Palsy.......and it has also meant for many years to 'get paralytic drunk'......I guess Cazza you've just looked it up on the internet on some nambypamby PC website, or worse still a dictionary thats been hijacked by some do-gooders......here I leave it cuz I dont really want to get banned - just putting my view across.

The world was better when things were simpler and people could say what they wanted without all this "PC" rubbish. PC = a stinking Commie invention used to silence and demonize opponents. Subscribe to PC, you are being used as a red puppet.

Jokes
Inappropriate jokes are not allowed either. These include; jokes mocking the dead, jokes about things that may cause upset to people who have experienced the topic first hand, such as paedophilia or rape, and generally anything that falls under the same rules as the "Post content" section.

So why isn't the Jokes Section empty? The lot should have been tippexed out if the moderators are going to stick to the rules.....

Take it you were well gone then Moose?? Very Happy.....Take it you had a good night???

If you have a complaint with the way I moderate Clemepol then I suggest you pm Toby about it rather than airing your views here as it states in the rules. Try googling for the meanings behind this word (and yes there are many) rather than some "namby pamby" pc website as you think i have. Or you never know i just might have some personal experience 'shock horror'........ I can be as Un-PC as the rest of you believe me but the difference is I know with who and where and when I can use it and thats not on a public website. Use it with your friends all you wish but not on here where people can and will take offence. Don't always look at the way that you see it but think how others may see it too.

Sorry Cazzabee - As long as the moderators ignore the rules themselves (the Joke section is still full, for instance) I have no incentive to bother to abide by them either. I've already pointed out openly the hypocritical way the website is being run, so there's little point in my scurrying off behind closed doors now is there?

As far as I can see, Caz is the only active mod at the moment; I think it very difficult to monitor every single post/thread. She is doing the best she can but trying to manage a site this size is very difficult. Perhaps Clemelpol you should be given an opportunity to be a mod and help manage the site?

Clemelpol, you've made your point about not liking the way the site is run, yet your still here posting and taking part, I think its everyone’s responsibility to read and obey the rules, if we did then we made the mods life a tad easier. Perhaps different people interpret the rules in different ways and we all do mess up some times but when we do what’s the point in blaming someone, a mod come across some thing that might be border line out of order they use their discretion and delete some thing, its done, end of story, move on.....
