I love the following from Lidl

Pork & leek Sausages
Chorizo
Salami
Caramel Shortcake
Herring Fillets
Mature Cheddar
Nescafe Gold (only £3.50!)
and whatever else takes my fancy on any given shopping trip.

I rarely eat fruit and vegetables, but I’d get them from Lidl too if I did. Except the greedy fuckers who own small corner shops in the area always queue outside Lidl early in the morning before they’ve even opened and buy all the bread, sugar, fruit and vegetables to resell in their own shops at vastly inflated prices.

[Disappointingly, everytime Lidl has decent computers/laptops in, I never have enough money to actually buy one. And before anyone takes the piss, those Medion computers are quite good, Medion make computers and laptops for many major brand names who just add a couple of hundred quid onto the Medion price and bung their own badge on them]

Oh, and The Three Legged One says she likes the dog food I buy from Lidl sometimes, but it makes her fur smell, and she’d prefer the Pedigree Small Dog sachets if I’d be so kind as to consider her humble request.

So, I love Lidl too.

Well, when I say love, I don't mean I'd want to marry (or even shag) Mr Lidl, or go and live in a cardboard box out the back or anything.

Yes! The Medion devices are good indeed. I bought a stereo for my van a few years back and I love it. It might have been Tevion actually...
I definitely have a decent Medion computer monitor though

I have an A4 Medion graphics tablet that I bought over 4 years ago from either Lidl or Aldi for less than £30 and it still works perfectly well (actually, I don't have it anymore, I gave it to Miss Cork Legs' daughter, I assume it still works)

Interesting you should mention that - I was going to ask you if you could recommend a good graphics tablet. My £2.50 mouse from ebuyer is fine for the price, but I wonder if a tablet would be better with Adobe whatchamacallit

Lidl is a pretty respectable shops but my closest supermarkets are Coop so I tend to plump for "ethical" over "no-frills".

I used to love Kwik Save stores as I'm generally more than happy to consume own-brand product line.

The people behind Aldi and Lidl are brothers who reputedly fell out with each other and set up competing chain stores based on the same concept.

I love their chocolate marzipans that just come in for the Christmas season and the rest of the year I love Lidl s non-food well made tools, gadgets and stationary goods.
I just don't like their queues and trolleys but no baskets tho...
