I have just (pre)ordered the new iPhone.....I didn't like the old one....and I would never have considered buying one....it was too expensive and not very good. The new iPhone is coming out in July...they have reduced the price considereably and it comes with WLAN and GPS....so you can surf on the internet with it for free and you can use it as a navigation system...as well as an "iPod"....to me it sounds good.

What do you think of the new iPhone?

(I still have the time to cancel the order within 2 weeks if you have any good arguments against the iPhone 3G!)

In the USA you get it for 199 USD.
In Germany you can get it for 1 Euro...if you get a 2-years contract.

I'm put off by the iphone mainly because of the long contracts and expensive tariffs.

I'm liking the blackberry pearl and the N95 8GB but I don't know how well the GPS system works on these....
