I am just watching a show on German television about a company
(www.geigercars.de.) who pimped up a Hummer. Not the American way which means having a tv screen at the bottom or a water fountain inside - the German way - which means tuning for speed.

The engine was replaced by a a 7l V8 compressor engine with 700 ps/horsepower.

Wheels were replaced by 28" chrome wheels and they put on some special brakes to cope with the high speeds as the car weighs so much.

The top speed was 250 km/h on the motorway which is a nothing special but a record speed for a Hummer

The only drawback: As the car weighs so much it used 70 l/100 km at the top speed of 250 km/h - what a waste !!!!.
