there are ways to do uni without ur parentws paying, so long as they fill in the firms saying they wont support u u wont have 2 pay, its up 2 u though. if u want to move away from them then uni is the best way 2 do it, different city and new ppl, instant friends and lots of new things to do.
ur mom abviousally doesnt know anyhting about college if she said that, dont let it worry u, getting distinctions is really hard.
mums r there 2 make their daughters life hard, my mums alway telling me im clinically obese, cheers mum!!! great way 2 give ur daughter eating problems....
have u tried sitting down with her and having a quiet word? like a really quiet word with no arguing, just a discussion? that wouldmake her respect u more.

I have done nothing but try and talk to her for the last 2 years. I'm so close to giving up now.

dont give up, just try it in differtn ways. even if u just do it the long way, say nothing more to her it but priove her wrong by being a success in everything u do in life.

Oh, and if she isn't going on about how dumb I am(which I know I'm not) it's the fact that I can't keep a boyfriend.

my mum does that to, dont let it bug u. if shes going on about it so much either insult her back (not a good idea, but so muich fun!) or ignore her. (good idea, b the bigger person). i can tell from talking 2 u that ur not dumb, so we know shes wrong there, and theres nothing wrong with not keeping a bf, its just coz all the guys are useless, not coz theerss anything wrong with us!

I'm going to wait until I know I'm moving out, then the day I do move out.........I am just going to say EVERYTHING.

It would be worth it just to see the look on her face.

Well, i'm currently looking for a job. Then i'll have to juggle that around with college.

thats going 2 b really hard, unless u move in with a few friends and find somewhere really cheap, and cheap accomadation sucks. make sure its the right thing to do b4 u do it. im off 2 bed now though...
