The new version is currently disabled..the messages would be exactly the same on both version.

What do you mean by "messages reset" ?

No, not a reset as such. Only very old messages that have already been read were deleted to clean the database.

There was a confusion as the counter on the settings page was wrong as it also counted the "invisible" spam messages.

I can't believe this. This topic's got almost the same messages on both its pages, except they're otherwise arranged.

Anyway... I have a major question as I don't get around well with the beta version.

Is there still an option to choose between the versions? Each to their own? Or do we all have to settle with this new one?

I've looked at the main website and that doesn't seem to have changed. Rolling Eyes

So, can we choose to go back to the old version or not?

I know a hell of a lot of effort has been put into making this version work, but for me it just doesn't.

Apart from the issues to do 'page not found' etc, etc, I thought that the old design was really great.

Surely it would be better to let people choose which format they prefer?
