Today my flatmate went off to England, and I thought, great, I'll get the place to myself for a while, invite a friend round and have a few beers, watch a film. Quality.

My pay cheque didn't come in. All my friends have gone to Belfast. So I have no money, no company, and an empty flat (aside from furniture). Don't you just love the fates?
