I don't think it means a lot, tho. Since 'other members' includes mostly people who are inactive coz they've never been back, or they can't reach their keyboards coz their arms have shrunk with Shrunken Arm Syndrome or Disappearing Limb Syndrome, etc.
Should probably be related to the amount of time you've been registered: "Your profile is being viewed approx 4 times a day!"

about a 25% of those have viewed more than once
some of them may have OCD problems
maybe 50% are scammers, spammers or other?
I have probably spoke to less than 1%
still not met anybody for real yet but there's hope I'm sure!

I joined yesterday and have 191, but wouldn't it be the ratio of actual messages compared to profile views which determines how 'popular' you are?

I think there needs to be some concrete analysis over time to calculate how accurate my assessments are. Notice how i used the words "some" and "maybe"? These are terms that are used when there is nothing accurate to assess at this moment in time.
