That's been said before... Practically means love = accepting the other one's flaws/things you don't like about them. Laughing Laughing

So if I didn't hit the idiot speaking on the phone at the cinema (because I was too sissy to do it) it means I love him? Laughing

You wouldnt hit someone in that situation because you arent brought up like that. No one is. Sure, we all SAY we'd like to do it but no one would. Love's got nothing to do with it.
And I hope that's a piss take because it doesnt make much sense otherwise.

Mythology has it's own weaknesses in a discussion. Mainly being mythology. Laughing
I do agree that lust is a primal nature inherent in all of us, regardless of what came first. However, love is inherent in nature as well.
Also, there's only one real possibility/definition/kind of lust. Love, on the other hand, is as infinite in it's variations as it is in it's definitions.

Maybe lust came first. Like most things that come first, it came as an imperfect product, and love was the real deal. Wink

I lust after most women..especially ones under 35ish, but not sure I love them

But I've never been in love so dont know. Had loads of women tell me they love me. But I'm a bit sceptical about that.. Can they fall for me without me showing anything towards them? Surprised

surely you have heard of unrequited love haven't you Jeg?

for some people, they don't realize how much they love someone until they lose them. Personally, i think i recognize love as a foreign country, in that i go there for vacation and one day i hope to move there Laughing

Well, this evening on the phone I told someone that I loved her, and since it was an honest, spontaneous remark (and I am not prone to saying such things lightly), I guess it must be how I really feel. I am not going to dissect the reasons *why* I said it, or why I feel like that, I am just going to accept the mutual declaration as a stated fact, and get on with my life without trying to find a reason for everything I do and say.

You mean it's good to know that I won't do my usual endless waffling?

You're probably right mate..maybe easy to get caught up in it. The emotion is probably used to liberally.

to you it could be, but to the other person that could be love. I think the guns n roses song November rain is about an unrequited love, it doesnt sound like he is singing about a crush though.

either way, because love means so many different things to people at different times of their lives, it is hard to say, but i think somebody can love another without that other person loving them back.

I'm coming back today with 2 brand new realizing signs. Laughing Laughing

1) When he says jump you ask "how high?"
2) When you've upset them, even if you've done nothing wrong you say: "I would never do anything to hurt you on purpose. If I have hurt you it can only mean that my whole process of thinking is wrong." (might've mentioned this one before around here... That's pretty much the greatest proof of love I've ever given anyone, giving up what I care most about = justice and honour, or as some people on here would put it: My constant need to be right. PMSL Laughing Laughing).

Wanted to quote something else too, but I don't remember what. POo, this old age sonny...

Laughing Laughing

In saying that Mirrilion devoted their first 2 - 3 LP's on Fish's love to the women [Kayliegh] who blew him out. Surprised
