Yes I used to have a picture on and got the 7 reply's after I took it off

you are one bloke and you have sent 67 msgs..now times that by how many other blokes have sent 67 msgs, many of them to the same women..
women are swamped with msgs..they will not have the time to reply to them all, and consider how much choice they now have..
try looking at things in a different light..Your opening msg is like your personal CV..if your response is not getting the attention you think it should..change it..you have to stand out of the crowd, or else you wont get that intial interview..lol
and yes..a picture will help your chances here..
