My dog, fuck the rest of it, that can all be replaced...

I would save a framed portrait of my mum that was done nearly 43 years ago when she was 20 and my 2 wee cats. Like Megz said most other things can be replaced.

For goodness sake man - upload them all to kodak gallery or whatever then you got a better chance of getting outta there ALIVE and not burn to death burdened with a heavy pc!!!

Oh yeah the question: My 3 cats, my rabbit and my 11 mice - everything else can either be replaced or I wont miss it.

Well... My cue, for sure... Even if I could replace it. Other than that... Probably my cellphone, some cash and my car keys. Laughing So I can move to the pool hall while they're fixin' up my house. Laughing Rolling Eyes Embarassed

I thought it was only one thing? In my case it would be my dog.

However, I have planned for this very eventuality, and have 2 external hard drives, passport, wallet, mobile phone (all my contacts phone numbers!) and a few other small bits and pieces ready for evacuation. All replaceable, of course, but at great emotional cost (well, the hard drives, with 5 years of work on them)

If I have time, I'd grab the bag of Minstrels off my desk too.

Hhhhmmm, my answer was actually I wouldnt save any items at all....cuz my pets are not "items", they are part of my family.
So, just one item? My debit card. At least I could get myself a cuppa and some clean knickers and some ciggies while the firemen do their thang!

I used to have a flat with big windows and sunlight all day long. Perfect for plants. I had 20 odd plants. Johnny is all that remains Crying or Very sad Then there's Pete the spider plant, but i wouldn't lose any sleep over losing him.

My flat is dark and dingy, but the plants seem to be OK. The lounge gets a bit of light in the morning, then it slinks around the coprner to the kitchen , where I parade my plants once a week for a full blast of sunlight.

Back on topic, I must admit that when I used to get depressed, I once was in a building that was on fire, and I just stayed in bed. Everyone else was standing around in the car park whilst the firemen tackled the blaze on 4th - 6th floors (I was on the the 11th floor) but I couldn't even be arsed to save my own life. Pretty grim, eh?

I would take the 300 year old Quan Yin statue with me which is physically and emotionally irreplacable. Then again, all the stuff in the world isn't worth endangering your wellbeing for. It is only stuff in the end...

i don't trust 'upload' sites like that - photobucket has the odd one of two... i'd rather just grab my pc and leg it.
