Erm, I'm working class and I'm not a chav.

It doesn't mean someone of working class background as such, but more the unpleasant underclass that seems to have emerged in recent years. Nothing wrong with being working class.

A lot of them appear to believe people are scared of them, yet they're about as intimidating as Lee Evans on helium... it's just not happening.

They don't want to make a better life for themselves by not trying at anything. There's a bountiful of options to become successful in careers, but these dickers think it's cool to be on the dole. Their excuse will be, "it's shit money" and half of them live with their parents. If you didn't want shit money then you should've tried harder, dumb ass. Problem is some people think they deserve things without having to do any work.

i think we say such things about people because society has a lot of labels, i mean i think we say these things about chavs/hoodies whatever you want to call them because they live up to the label they have been given but also not just appearance wise;

I have been intimdated, verbally abused, followed, stared at, pointed and laughed at by "chavs" all fitting the description of what has been said in this thread but it has never happened to me from emos/rockers/goths etc

society gave these people a label because of how they act etc but these people do nothing to counteract it so make a worse reputation for themselves

the only people i see causing trouble around here are these people, the only ones i see in the local paper for causing trouble are these people, my first hand experience of how these people behave is evident and when my sister didnt move out of a chavs way quick enough he twatted her in the jaw damaged all the soft tissue and nerves it gave her whiplash and concussion ...

there u go, im in a shitty mood, my life is going down the pan and i have my period

be warned

ok so "us people" dont have feeling
and y didnt she move? is that not her own fault? idk but what uv just said is laughable how you can say people like us are thugs ect..

but iv gone past caring so yh if you like were all like that to,is it eny wonder thay bully you? how uv just made me feel id do the same,im done with this site i thought u were all nice people,true people have shone in this thread though
