Has to be around the 120 mark, and that was pushing it, 1.4 k reg basic ford escort, and the hire car clio i had about 115 and my pug 206 i made it to about 120 too

the most fun though was pushing my 998 mini to 90mph!! yes it does work!!
I like going fast in your 206 Wink

ah not sure about that, I'd been driving for years when I got caught.

Only 2 and half years for me. Not a risk I want to take Confused

Only drive fast if there is no speed limit

fastest ive ever been myself was about 120 mph. my car should be capable of around 150 + with the new engine in it!! 300 bhp in a car that weighs 900kg standard (but about 1050 kg in my case. that equates to a power to weight ratio around the same as a 911 turbo!!!

a 911 should not have any problems going 175 mph...

oh dont worry, i know what kind of speeds a 911 turbo is capable of....in fact what most cars are capable of!!! (im a bit of an anorak )
i really have no idea what kind of top speed my car should be capable of, and i have no intention of finding out.
my engine aint even finished yet....its still having a standalone engine management system fitted.....but i do know that it'll be in or around 300bhp, and its a very light car. also i have to admit that its a fwd car, so dynamically speaking, it will be very flawed, and will be slower than a 911 turbo......even with the better p/w ratio (grip will be the killer)..was just bragging about my power to weight ratio
....that said, im sure it could do 150 mph depending on gearing

i once got my 1988 mini city up to 85mph, i was proud!!!! felt like we were flying....
in a newer car it was 100, my amte was ill so i drove his car, there were about 15 of us in 3 cars and a minibus, and we raced down the motorway!! it was so much fun. i only got up to 100, but it was so cool.
