Bout 95. My little punto could probably hit 100 with nothing in it. She's a city car, not a racer.

Fastest Ive driven is 155mph in my Audi S8 on the M54/A5 in Shropshire. Its limited to this speed thank God as its a bit quick.

Been nicked for doing 106mph which was lucky as I had been doing 125 before I got pulled on the M180. £250 fine and six points for that.

My car doesnt go faster then 220 km/h (137 mph?) but I think that' fast enough. The only annoying thing in Germany is that usually after some minutes, once you reach your travelling speed, some lorry pulls out to overtake another dutch lorry driver...usually at the beginning of a hill Sad
and everyone needs to break. I think there shoud be a minimum speed of 120 mph for the left-hand side .....would be more friendly for the environment

Anyway, I am lucky I am not in the UK all the time. In France it is at least 130 km/h and being slightly faster is still ok (150 km/h)..which is still unbearably slow but then once you get to the UK, you almost fall asleep with 110 km/h ...although many cars use least petrol at a speed of 130km/h and in my opinion driving slowlier then 160 km/h is even more dangerous as you dont pay as much attention and fiddle around with the radio etc and look out of the window all the time instead of concentrating on the road.

The fastest in the UK was about 100 mph...but only as I was driving behind a police car that was also going faster without any apparent reason

The maddest country for driving is the USA, especially Florida. The only country I know where lorry drivers go faster then the cars and drive really recklessly...and nobody keeps a safety distance. It really feels a lot safer driving on the fast lane on a German motorway with the required safety distance to the car in front of you at a speed of 137 mph for hours then driving 60 mph in the USA and having to watch out for the lorry drivers or dodges who dont keep any safety distance...

You were lucky enough to not loose you license. I was going on my bike 155mph on m23/m25. It is fast. I looked on the clock to check my speed when I looked back on the road I had a completely different view. I have to actually count what distance you doing with such a speed during 1-2 sec.

I've pushed my beamer to 130Mph but then my bum hole started to twitch and i eased off again. Amazing thing is, i still had plenty off poke left and top speed without mods is 155. God knows what mine will do. Don't think i'll ever have the bottle to try it.

Why dont you go on a racing track? I am sure there must be some in the UK.

Or what about getting some British billionairs to build a private motorway without a speed limit? I heard that some people in the USA did that...somewhere...they build their own motorway which is some miles long in between 2 towns so they can try out their ferraris and drive faster then 180 mph.
