I thought that a decently humane thread was ruined here by mooses religious/cultural rant. What is religion but a label to society, I'm not completely Irish, I'm of protestant religion but I consider myself to be no part of any religion and that is my own choice, not what my parents labelled me with at birth. Religion smidgeon, its all a bunch of lies and deceit to pocket our hard earned cash and bring false hope for a price. Anyone who is well into their faith or religion is afraid, afraid to be themselves, afraid to step out of the boundaries and find their own faith in life. Religion, the cause of many lost lives, the cause of wars. Oh well, least Im free from the chains of lost hope. I celebrate St Paddys because its a day out to socialise with my friends, if anything I'd rather be part of the fun than be miserable and miss it.

And Happy St Pats to you Moose, even if you are a miserable W**ker.

Right, this has to stop now...anymore of it and this perfectly innocent thread by LV will be locked (sorry hun). This isnt a place for debating political correctness or religion or anything else like it so please leave be and get back on topic or leave well alone. I do not want to see anymore personal attacks either.

Oh and Happy whatever day cos its bound to be some day somewhere for someone to celebrate Very Happy

Who would of thought such a thread would cause so much controversy Rolling Eyes

I'm all for people voicing their opinions..but why attack such an innocent original post, as Cazzabee points out..

Some people need to get off their high horse..sit back and pop a chill pill ffs

I really didnt think it would cause this much trouble when I just posted an innocent wish for St Paddys Day.
Confused
I really dont mind if you want to lock it Cazz as its not much fun reading some of the nasty comments from some people. Actually might be a good idea
Sad
i'm sorry to say I am getting put off going on here at all lately by certain things I have read on several of the threads, there is no need of it at all....

oh! btw, Happy Birthday to my Son

Right....first of all....Happy Birthday to your son LV Very Happy

2nd thing....yes i have decided to lock it. As you say LV things are beginning to get a bit out of hand sometimes recently and I for one am getting sick of it too. We try to give as much freedom to say what you like on here as but sometimes things are said that just shouldnt be said. All that is asked is that you respect ALL users and what their beliefs etc may be. We dont have many rules but please respect the ones we do have otherwise warnings will start being issued So on that note....thread locked.
