quite simple really, irish people are celebrated throughout the world, whereas the english are seen as imperialist invaders who left nothing but bad feelings in every country theyve ever been too

Aww LV, its my mates birthday on St Paddy's day and he's irish so its a massive piss up all round for me on the 17th.

You had good intentions when starting the thread babe, and most Irish people dont need an excuse to drink so im sure they do drink on St George's day. xx
