Ok here's one that's been bothering me. Do the majority of women prefer hairy men? I'll admit I'm one of those guys that is very hairy and it sometimes bothers me. Friends say, "Some women like that" but that's no comfort. I never take my top off and when I'm at the beach or somewhere, I see all the girls 'looking' at the guys who obviously spend 5 days a week in a gym and shave their chest. I guess hairy is real ...... I guess hairy is masculine, but what do the majority of girls prefer:-

id just like to say, just cos someone goes to the gym doesnt mean they have to shave their chest. i am not a very hairy bloke, i work out, but i am naturally smooth on the chest. if someone assumes i shave my chest because i work out and dont have a hairy chest, they assume wrong. people come in all shapes and colours and also in differnt kinds of hairiness, one isnt better than the other and neither one is more masculine than the other, masculinity is more than what a man looks like!

I prefer some body hair on a man rather than ''smooth'', but ticked it doesnt matter, because it wouldnt put me off someone if they werent hairy.

I'm with Cheeky. I prefer hair to none, but it's the person behind the chest in the end.

My current fellah has the odd wisp that he shaves cos he feels the odd half a dozen hairs is pathetic! Wally Laughing

I prefer clean shaven but not so bothered about body shape, also if I liked a guy, I still wouldbn't be put off by him having body hair.

Sunshine, mate.

I am a hairy bloke too!

I have found that it puts some women off - but then sometimes their personal attributes or traits put me off them as well.

Others like it, most dont seem to care.

What i am trying to say is that i was self-concious as i was growing up, but now dont give a tinkers cuss what others think - there is no "perfect model" to follow - although many look to me, i know!!.

One mans (or womans) poison............

Just dont go for a tight perm - i have avoided that!!

Most people have been selecting "Doesn't Matter" ... isn't that the same as "Making Do"? Not a single person yet has ticked "Hairy". Not helping my confidence.

Look a bit closer Sunshine. Most of us are saying it's because it's the person that counts and there's a few of us that do slightly prefer hair, but the person is more important!!

I also ticked it doesn't matter, because it doesn't. Same as it doesn't matter if they have beards or not, or are tall, short. The main things I look for is a spark, a twinkle, a presence and a brain, and someone I can jump up and down in a mad out of control way. Which sounds a bit whack but you may get my drift.
